The aim of the study was to conduct an investigation into the effect of orientation and training on employees’ performance at Odotobri Rural Bank. In doing this, the research identified and evaluated training policies in Odotobri Rural Bank as well as their training practices. In addition, the study assessed how employees and employers/managers view the effectiveness of orientation and training programmes as well as training needs analysis undertaken before training.
