Manufacturing firms in Nairobi City County face persistent operational risks arising from political instability, logistical disruptions, and global supply chain shocks. Consequently, supply chain resistance the ability of an organization to withstand and absorb disruptions has emerged as a critical strategy for sustaining operational continuity. This study examined the effect of supply chain resistance on the operational performance of manufacturing firms in Nairobi City County, Kenya. The study was anchored on Systems Theory, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of organizational subsystems in sustaining overall performance.
