Since the 1990s outsourcing has been a subject of discussion and has attracted business organizations across the world. The emergence of globalization has made outsourcing widely embraced by business entities particularly because of benefits like cost reduction, access to technology, and business growth among others. Some organizations have outsourced for services and they have ripped the benefits of outsourcing while others have not ripped the benefits. This variability shows that outsourcing some services have greater contribution to organizational performance than others. However, little is known on the extent to which each service outsourced impacts on organizational performance.
