Effects Of Motivation On Public Sector Performance: A Case Of Forestry Research Institute Of Ghana
This study was conducted to assess the effect of motivation on public sector performance. Forestry Research Institute of Ghana of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-FORIG) was used as a case. Stratified sampling was the technique used in data collection using questionnaires. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS. The study revealed that people joined public service for various reasons and will be motivated to give their best at work when working tools and equipment are available, when they have good general work environment and also receive periodic training for personal development.
