Information technology in the logistics performance on road transport is expressed in terms of operation cost and turn round time. However, there are also many effects identified from the use of information technology in the road transport in perspective that are related to the relationships in the logistic performance. This study therefore seeks to fill this gap of knowledge by investigating the effect of Information technology on logistic performance on cargo transport in Kenya. The following variables are been tested; Information flow, Logistics integration, inventory management system and fleet management system. The study used descriptive research design.
