Supervision, teaching, and learning are major components of an educational system. Without these components the educational system may not be effective. The primary function of a school is student learning and as such, effective instructional supervision is essential for quality assurance. This study purposely sought to examine how schools external supervision has impinged on quality of teaching and learning practices in secondary schools in Kajiado North sub county.
