Adult Education involves activities intentionally designed for the purpose of bringing about learning among those whose age, social roles, or self-perception define them as adults. The adult learner is engaged in improving his or her education, whether at basic, remedial, functional level, etc. This paper discusses ethical dilemmas in adult education practice in Nigeria, stressing three major areas: teaching, programme planning (curriculum development) and library/information services. The role of educators and librarians in curbing unethical behaviours are discussed.
