Digital Divide And Teachers’ Attitude Towards The Use Of Computer For Teaching In Public Secondary Schools In Osun State, Nigeria
The study determined the influence of the three levels of digital divide on public secondary school teachers' attitude to the use of computer for teaching in Osun State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. 360 students were sampled for the study using multistage sampling procedure and return-rate of questionnaire was 85.27%. Analysis of data showed that computer access has no significant effect on the teachers' attitude (t298 = 0.65; p = 0.517); computers' skill has significant influence (F(1,254) = 14.410; p = 0.00; R2 = 0.054) while expected profit from usage has no significant relationship with the teachers' attitude (r = 0.094).
