Teacher Remuneration By County Government And Its Influence On Implementation Of Early Childhood Education Curriculum: The Case Of Homabay County, Kenya
Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) is the bedrock and foundation of all learning in the life of any child. In Kenya, significant progress has been realized since the devolvement of the management Early Childhood Development Education including teacher management by the County Governments by the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. However, there still exist some teacher remuneration challenges which have continued to undermine the effective implementation of the Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) in the country. The thrust of this study was to assess the influence of teacher remuneration on the implementation of pre-school curriculum in Homa -Bay County.
