This research study sought to determine the influence of Rap music artists on the behavior of organized criminal gangs in Embakasi Central, Nairobi County. To be more precise, the study evaluated the influence of character roles played, the influence of language use by rap music artists, the moderating effects of parental mediation strategies between rap music artists and the behavior of organized criminal gangs. Key findings concluded that character roles, language use and rap music videos viewing duration had a significant and negative influence on the behavior of organized criminal gangs. Download
