The purpose of this research was to present a predictive model of success in online learning. Three variables (emotional intelligence, locus of control, and grit) were selected based on research that would relate to attitude, norms, and perceived behavioral control which would result in intention in engagement in online learning. The problem with developing predictive models is sometimes they are not predictive, however there are still lessons to be learned from this research.
