Empowering Language Minority Students: The British Educational Framework For Intervention. The Case Of Greek Origin Children In Britain
This Article explores a number of issues relating to The British Educational framework for Language Minority pupils with special reference to the case of Greek Origin Children in Britain. The overall aim of the study was to investigate and compare different types of current educational provision in order to identify the effect these might have on their bilingualism, attitudes towards their bilingual education and self concept. A number of individual or psychological and contextual or societal variables that might influence the ways in which language minority children perceive their languages and accrue benefits from their bilingualism were investigated in the research study.
