Educational Management Implications Of The Determinants Of Learning Outcomes In French Language In Secondary Schools On Owerri, Eastern Nigeria
The purpose of the study was to investigate the determinants of learning outcomes in French language and the implications for educational management in the area. The home, the society, individual learner characteristics, the school and the methods of teaching were identified.Five research questions and five null hypotheses were raised and formulated to guide the research work. A purposive sampling technique was used in selecting the study sample of 645 from the population.Structured and validated questionnaire items was the main instrument for data collection. The results obtained after analysis showed low extent of learning outcomes in society and high extent in the other factors.
