The prevalence of asymptomatic bacteriuria amongst pregnant women attending antenatal at Mbano joint Hospital in Isiala Mbano L.G.A was investigated using culture techniques. Out of the 120 patients examined, 46(38%) had asymptomatic bacteriuria, while 25(21%) had none. The predominant bacteria isolated were E-coli, Staphylococcus aureus.
