Seven (7) Risk Factors In The Prevalence Of Hypertension
This paper used descriptive statistics and logistic regression model to estimate the risk factors variable that may contribute to hypertension with the sample size of 584. The summary statistics result shown the distribution of the variable in the study. The models of the logistic regression coefficient shown that age, gender, marital status and salt intake are negative factors that influence hypertension while alcohol, family history and obesity are the most positive factors that influence the prevalence of hypertension. These result in general has bring us to the fact that some factors can positively influence hypertension but not significant.
