This paper aims to analyze how environmentally friendly methods of construction and green building design concepts are used in Ondo town, Ondo State, Nigeria, and how efficient they are in reducing the town's energy consumption. The objectives of the study are to examine the impact of various green building design features, such as solar panels, floor area optimization, and green roofs, on the energy efficiency of commercial buildings in Ondo town. The methodology used in this paper was a case study involving field surveys, energy usage monitoring, and performance simulations to evaluate data from the Ondo State power holding company and build energy consumption rates and records.
