Training Pedagogy Among Tvet Institutions In Nairobi County And Relevance To The Market Needs
Technical and vocational education plays a key role in churning out skills that are needed in all sectors of the economy. However, in Kenya and most African countries there has been poor linkage between graduates' technical skills and market needs causing incongruity and discrepancy between the skills supply and the labour market. Therefore, the objective of the study was to determine whether the training pedagogy among TVET institutions in Nairobi County are relevant to the market needs. A structured questionnaire was used to collect primary data. Content analysis and inferential statistics were used for analysis.
