Classification is a subcategory of supervised learning. Supervised learning makes prediction based on existing data. It is an aspect of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows AI technology to learn from past experiences or data that has been previously processed. This is done using algorithms. One of these is the classification algorithm. Classification algorithm is used to predict what category data belongs to. There are different types of classification algorithms that can be used for prediction and classification. However, this paper focused on K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN).
