Preferred Agricultural Information Sources Among Crop Farmers In The Central Tongu District
Abstract It is known that a gap exists between sources of agricultural information and potential recipients, of which smallholder farmers form a part. The aim of the study was to determine the sources of farm-related information available to smallholder farmers; the types of information received and preferred channels of receiving information. The study was conducted at three locations in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region in Ghana, using purposive sampling for the locations followed by snowball technique to select the respondents.
