The implementation of COVID-19 vaccination programs faced considerable challenges of misinformation, lack of trust in health authorities and a host of socio-cultural barriers despite the obvious importance of COVID-19 vaccines in combating the pandemic. Thus, the current study sought to evaluate community involvement in the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination programs and how it affected the provision of vaccination services in Alego-Usonga. The study established that the community was heavily involved in COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, which consequently had a big impact on how the vaccine was delivered.
