Port Concession And Efficiency In Nigeria: A Study Of Calabar Port
This study which was survey in nature investigated the impact of the policy of port concession on maritime efficiency in Nigeria with Calabar port as an area of study. Four-point Likert-scale questionnaire was used to elicit information from 150 respondents, the questionnaire was administered using simple random sampling technique and Chi square statistical tool was employed to analyze the hypothesis formulated for this study. The findings of the study revealed that private ownership of seaport affects level of port efficiency.
