Development Of Microcontroller-based Real-time Control System For Home Appliances
The objective of this research work is to design and implement a microcontroller-based real-time control system for home appliances. The system is made up of five relays that can be controlled independently through a parallel port of a microcontroller using embedded software. Its circuit is reliable and can switch ON/OFF electrical devices with respect to time. Once the devices are time-set and activated, the devices remain on till the set time elapses. The ON/OFF states indicate the real time clock time parameters (hr: min: sec) which are displayed on the LEDs panel in intervals of time events.
