The study was carried out to investigate the impact of small arms proliferation on communal conflict in communities of Cross River State of Nigeria. An expost-facto design was adopted for the study. A Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Analysis was adopted to analyze the data and interpret the result. A statistical analysis of the generated data revealed that there is a relationship between small arms proliferation and the incessant communal conflicts in the study area. The study also revealed that most negatively impacted people are women, children, humanitarian workers and properties. Download
