The study was carried out to investigate the impact of small arms proliferation on communal conflict in communities of Cross River State of Nigeria. An expost-facto design was adopted for the study. A Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Analysis was adopted to analyze the data and interpret the result. A statistical analysis of the generated data revealed that there is a relationship between small arms proliferation and the incessant communal conflicts in the study area. The study also revealed that most negatively impacted people are women, children, humanitarian workers and properties.
