Methods Of Enhancing English Vocabulary Acquisition In English Composition Lessons Among Class Seven Learners With Hearing Impairment In Nyanza Province, Kenya
Knowledge and correct use of lexical items is an important aspect of teaching and learning of composition writing. Composition writing is an integral part of the primary school English syllabus and the national examination in Kenya. Over the years, learners with hearing impairments have recorded low achievement in English composition. This study proposed to find out the methods of enhancing English vocabulary acquisition in English composition lessons in class seven. The study employed descriptive survey design using a target population of seventy one (71) pupils and five (5) teachers.
