The Socio-ethical Implications Of Nigerian Federal Universities On Host Commuities
This study investigates the socio-ethical implications of Nigerian federal universities on host communities. The Federal University of Technology, Owerri and the University of Jos were used as case study. Six host communities of the two federal universities participated in the study. Data were collected through simple random sampling technique from 277 respondents from the study area. The result shows that the advent of federal universities led to escalation in immorality, cultism and criminal activities in the host communities.
