This study was designed to investigate the influence of alcohol use, religiosity, and educational attainment on marital distress among Nigeria couples. Two Hundred and Fifty Three couples participated in the study which adopted a cross sectional research design and a Three-Way Analysis of Variance for Unequaled Grouped sample size was used for statistical analysis. Results obtained indicated that all the variables influences marital distress; alcohol use: (F )1, 245) = 44.46, 9< .001); religiosity: (F (1, 245) = 5.05 P < .001); educational attainment: (F (1, 245) = 44.18, P< .001). there was no significant interaction effect among the variables.
