This article is a critical analysis of the causes of student indiscipline and their impact on school management in public high schools in Kenya. The causes of student indiscipline have been identified and their impact on school management examined. The study was based on McGregor’s Theory X and Y theory. This qualitative study employed content and desk analysis design. The researchers chose this design due to the fact that it allows for critical analysis beyond the statistical results used in such qualitative studies.
