Lack of students’ involvement in managing their conflicts in public universities creates a gap in the management of their conflicts. The nature of leadership involvement has an impact on the involvement and provision of effective leadership development opportunities for students. The rationale for this study was to assess the involvement of student welfare staff in peace initiative programmes in the management of student conflicts in Kenyan public universities.
