This research aimed to assess the influence of belief systems on perception of the causes of diseases of the Hausa people of municipality of Kano state – Nigeria. Culture bound theory and cluster sampling technique was adopted in this study. The sample size of this study was 384 respondents; randomly selected .The instrument for data collection used was questionnaire. The findings clearly revealed that the sex, age and education of Hausa people of Kano municipality of Kano state, Nigeria, influence their belief systems on the causes of diseases.It was recommended that People should be dynamic and not always conservative.
