The paper examines Assessment of Factors Responsible for Migration to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Data was obtained through the administration of 510 questionnaires of which 491 was analyzed. Data collected were processed using Epi/Info computer software for data entry and SPSS computer software for data analysis. Frequency distributions tables were use for descriptive statistical analysis. The study reveals that 42.5 percent of respondents migrate to the FCT to seek employment,25.1 percent to take up job or on job transfer,19.6 percent to do business, 6.9 percent to join their spouses and 5.9 percent is due to ethno-religious crises.
