This study is deeply attached the importance of using Factor Analysis, as an item analysis to test the validity and reliability of instrumental scales or items for evaluating Classroom Instructional Practices. Factor analysis is a collection of methods used to examine how underlying constructs (core areas) influence the responses on a number of measured variables. Following the Factor Analysis procedures is to ensure that the respondents are able to focus on the questions and consequently provide valid and reliable responses. After all if you want to measure an ability or trait, you need to ensure that the questions asked relate to the construct that you intend to measure.
