The study seeks to ascertain the teachers’ perceptions after the withdrawal of incentives by the government. After reading the article in The Herald of 24 April 2014 that the government has banned the payment of incentives to the teachers the researcher was prompted to investigate the teachers feelings. Prior to this study the research once carried out the study on the impact of incentives to the teachers. The study had indicated that the incentives had energized the teachers to execute their duties earnestly.
