Trade Liberalization And Profitability, Competitiveness As Well As Comparative Advantage Of Uganda’s Cotton Industry
This study uses Policy Analysis Matrix to investigate the impact of trade liberalization on profitability, competitiveness and comparative advantage of Uganda’s cotton industry following liberalization of the cotton industry. The results in this study are obtained from estimate of net profit margin, net output value and domestic resource cost ratio that indicate profitability, competitiveness and comparative advantage of Uganda’s cotton industry during this period respectively.
