Embracing Green Supply Chain Practices In The Construction Industry, The Case Of Construction Firms In The Kumasi Metropolis And Its Environs
This study sought to evaluate the readiness of firms in the construction industry to adopt and implement green practices in their supply chains. Taking the Kumasi Metropolis and its environs as a study area, twenty-two (22) construction firms were sampled for the study. Data were gathered from the management of the various firms using questionnaires. Data collected were analysed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings of the study indicated a general underperformance of the firms in the area of green supply chain management practices.
