This research explores the level of gender discrimination at workplace. The data was collected via questionnaire and in-depth interview from randomly selected 5 private IT companies operating within Lucknow region. The study comprises of the following phases:
1. Evaluation of male & female work performance
2. Evaluation of degree of discrimination level existing at workplace via comparison between number of male and female employees, with incentives paid to the employees.
The result shows that despite an insignificant difference in male and female work performance, female employees are under-rewarded which de-motivation and lowers the morale of employees thus effects the performance
