Suicidal ideation in HIV/AIDS is a predictor of future suicidal attempt and completed suicide. This study aimed at determining the prevalence and risk factors for suicidality among Persons Living with HIV attending the Antiretroviral Treatment clinic of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. This was a descriptive, cross-sectional study carried out among 227 participants selected using systematic sampling. Data was collected using a standardized self-administered structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, chi-square, and bivariate analysis was performed, with p-value set at 0.05.
