This paper is based on concurrent monitoring of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), one of the biggest central governments’ sponsored programmes, running all over the country. Paper focuses on physically challenged or disabled school going children at elementary level of schooling in four districts namely Ambedkar Nagar, Raibareilly, Bahraich and Gonda of Uttar Pradesh.
