Economic Analysis Of Feedmill Industries In Ogun And Oyo States, Southwest Of Nigeria
The economic viability of feed mill industries in Ogun and Oyo State (Abeokuta, Ibadan, Igbo-ora, Ijebu-ode, Sagamu, Ilaro and Oyo), South West of Nigeria was examined to ascertain the more profitable category of business. Three categories of feed mill were identified as small, medium and large scale enterprise. Data on distribution by ownership structure, distribution according to feed production capacity, distribution of investment cost, feed mill business category, profitability index, analysis of revenue, cost and measure of profitability were determined from forty-five (45) out of fifty-six (56) administered to the feed mills in this area using structured questionnaire with simple grap
