Traditionally, Indian society has been based on rigid hierarchy and the scheduled tries have been of social, economic and cultural rights. In introducing and promoting formal education in the tribal areas a large number of difficulties have been encountered. There is large amount of vastage at the primary level, because the scheduled tribes are least interested in education. Since most of them are illiterate and ignorant they are unaware of the benefits of education. Download
