In Plateau state Irish potatoes is one among the most important tuber crops grown by farmers in the research area for consumption, but yet due to insufficient land, it is still practice in small scale since most farmers have less than one hectare to cultivate which is not enough to earn a living(Turamyenyiri et al, 2013). This makes farmers to continually cultivate the same piece of land repeatedly which result to land exploitation without corrective measures especially through the use of nitrogen fertilizer. A design of experiment was therefore conducted on response of Irish Potatoes based on the application of Nitrogen Fertilizer.
