The study was carried out to assess the constraints to households' forest resources exploitation and utilization activities in Benue State, Nigeria. A well structured interview schedule was used to purposively elicit information from 300 eligible respondents in the study area. The study revealed that: poor credit incentives (86.7%), poor households' financial resources (83.3%), poor transportation means (80.0%), and crude nature of forest resources exploitation equipment (78.3%), and poor road networks (77.0%) were identified as the major constraints to households constraints to forest resources exploitation and utilization activities in the study area.
