The study aimed to assess the sprouting, rooting and survival rates of orthotropic and plagiotropic sucker cuttings of robusta coffee, examining their response to growth promoters. The cuttings were raised in a low tunnel at Adi nursery, Suntikoppa, Kodagu, using a factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 16 treatments (2 factors) and three replications. Orthotropic cuttings exhibited better sprouting, rooting and survivability. The most effective growth promoters were Azospirillum @ 10g and VAM @ 5g /bag combination (G8) for sprouting and IBA @ 2000 ppm (G3) for rooting and survivability. Download
