The study examined the moderating effect of gender on the level of motivation and the level of employees' performance in the public sector of Ghana. A sample size of four hundred (400) respondents was chosen from selected Ministries, Departments and Agencies to present a reasonable coverage. The research approach adopted for this study was quantitative method. Data sources used were obtained from primary sources through questionnaires .Stratified and simple random samplings were used.
