This study analysed various forms of forest fauna food resources exploited and their intensity of utilization by the rural households in Benue State, Nigeria. Data for the study was purposively collected from 300 eligible respondents in the rural households using a well structured interview schedule. The result of the study revealed that majority (70.0%) consumed bush meat by boiling, mollusks (65.0%), birds (60.0) were utilized in boiled form, 60.0% of eligible insects larvae and pupae were utilized fried, 31.0% of reptile were smoked and 30.0% of edible insects larvae and pupae were utilized when grinded.
