A Comparative Evaluation Of Patients’ Satisfaction With Nursing Care In Tertiary And Secondary Health Care Facilities In Southeast Nigeria: Mixed Method Survey
Background: In health care, Satisfaction is a rational outcome measure of quality of health care service. Results from Satisfaction appraisals reflect the patients' views and expectations of services received. This study assessed satisfaction with nursing care. Objective: To evaluate and comparatively assess the satisfaction of clients with the nursing care of pregnant women attending antenatal in secondary and tertiary health facilities in south east Nigeria. Study Design: This was a comparative cross-sectional study. Methods: A pretested interviewer administered questionnaire was used. Samples comprised 500 women attending clinic in the study sites completed the questionnaire.
