The study analysed microfinance as a tool for the growth and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs in Ghana). The study which employed purposive sampling technique to sample 90 respondents (40 Microfinance institutions, and 50 Micro, small, and medium enterprises) was purely qualitative in design. Overwhelmingly, the study found that microfinancing leads to the growth and development of MSMEs. It leads to increase in profits, expansion of employment, improvement in the standard of living of owners of MSMEs, hence promoting the growth and development of MSMEs and by extension leading to economic growth of Ghana.
