This study examined the relationship between cultural practices and domestic violence against women in Makurdi metropolis of Benue State. Three hundred and eighty four (384) women were sampled out using stratified random sampling from the streets of Makurdi metropolis, these include; 1) Badagir 2) Katsina-ala 3) Vandekya 4) Konshisha 5) Dayspring 6) Awe 7) David atah 8) Uke wende 9) Eri and 10) Kalaba.
