School-based In-service Teacher Professional Development: A Practical Experience, Probono School Project In Tanzania
Education provision for a long time has been evolving in its various aspects including the content, teaching approaches and methodologies among others. In teaching methodology many innovations have been put in place in order to be in line with the learning theories. In this study the authors were interested to find out the extent to which the approach of School-Based in-service teacher professional approach is implemented and its effects to the teachers teaching methodology. To enhance that, teacher professional development a project was established with the objective of improving the status of teacher knowledge and skills.
