Nigeria is a Country with diverse culture, tradition and norms which enable gender inequality. The Country also has a very high burden of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). This study is aimed at investigating the gender inequity among orphans and vulnerable children in Akwa Ibom and River State in Nigeria’s oil rich South-South geopolitical zone.
