Recurrence of inter-ethnic conflicts has been a common phenomenon in different parts of the world for along time. The situation has not been any different in the Sub-Saharan Africa and in Kenya. There are a number of social and economic issues surrounding these conflict that cause the recurrence despite the conflict prevention and peace initiatives that have been put forward in the affected areas.
